About Me

I am a software engineer by day, working in the financial world on backend C++ and Java applications.

Photography is my more creative hobby-turned-side-gig that I enjoy everywhere and every chance I get. Whether hooked up to my telescope, on a hike in the North Georgia mountains, or just in the backyard garden with our two dogs and cat, I love finding new ways to capture the world (and out of this world) around us. I have taken photo classes dating back to high school, college, and even online courses since just to brush up and stay fresh. I am definitely what you could call a constant learner--being a software engineer will do that to you.

My wife, Lyndsey, brought us South to Atlanta from Chicago, where I was born and raised. You can hear her middays on Rock 100.5 where she can tell you all you need to know about 90's one hit wonders and legends of rock music alike. Atlanta (well, OTP in Roswell) has become home for us in the past few years!

You can find us at Atlanta Hawks games or just about any concert you can imagine, at any of the various breweries around Atlanta, or on Canton Street in Roswell on a nice Friday night.
